Our AMERICAN FLAG is sewn from fade resistant, durable, all weather, outdoor, 200 denier, 100% SolarMax Nylon. The nylon is dyed using aniline dye, which penetrates the fabric for vivid, bright and long lasting color.Vibrant stripes of red and white with dense white embroidered stars on a blue background.Strong, tough, lock stitching on all seams and hems for endurance plus four or six rows of lock stitching on the fly end; the part of the flag that suffers the most wear and tear from wind and weather.Our Size 3′ by 5′ foot flag is available with Grommets or a Flag Pole Sleeve. Flag with Grommets: Solid brass, rolled rim, size #2 grommets are inserted into a heavy duty, white Army duck cloth header for easy attachment to your flag pole hardware. Flag with Pole Sleeve: On the left side of the flag, made from heavy duty Army duck cloth is a sleeve. The sleeve allows for the insertion of your flag pole. Solid Brass Grommets – Strong and Reliable

GROMMETS are necessary for poles that require grommets for flag attachment. The grommets are used to attach or fasten the flag to your existing flag pole hardware.On the left or hoist side of the flag is a white strip of durable fabric called the flag header. The header is strong and made from a heavy duty blend of cotton-polyester Army duck cloth.The header needs to be strong since we insert two solid brass size #2 rolled rim grommets into the header. Header width is 1-1/2″ wide, except for flag size 6’x10′, header is 2″ wide.The flag receives a lot of wind stress and the header fabric with grommets need to be strong and durable.

Flag Pole Sleeve – Sturdy and Tough

Some flag poles do not use grommets but use a POLE SLEEVE. This flag can be used for 5′ foot and 6′ foot house mounted flag poles.On the left side of the flag is a narrow pole sleeve that accommodates a pole that is 1-1/2″ diameter or less.The pole sleeve is made from heavy duty white duck cloth that is strong and durable. Within the pole sleeve are sewn two leather tabs.The leather tabs have a small slit or button hole. On your flag pole, there should be existing hardware to attach the tabs. When the tabs are attached to your pole, it prevents the flag from slipping on the pole.

Fade Resistant, 200 Denier SolarMax Nylon – Strength and Durability

Our American Flag has dense, pure white embroidered stars with sewn stripes.SolarMax Nylon is strong, durable and fade resistant but lightweight enough to fly in a gentle breeze.We use aniline dye. This allows the color to deeply penetrate the nylon fabric which provides bright and vivid colors.Our American Flag has fully sewn seams and hems, using lock stitching. Many flags are sewn using a less expensive chain stitch, which can lead to unraveling of seams.By using lock stitching on our flags, the upper and lower threads are “locked” or entwined together to form a secure bond.The lock stitching continues on the fly end of the flag. The fly end is the part of the flag that flies freely in the wind. Because of the stress that is put on this part of the flag, we put four rows of lock stitching for long-lasting durability. Our flag size 6’x10′ has six rows of lock stitching.
